Silent Auction Adds Excitement to 10th Anniversary PanHellenic Scholarship Gala

Hang gliding anyone?  A Kennedy Space Adventure?  Yachting aboard the America's Cup winner Stars and Stripes? Dazzling designer jewelry by Coomi, Konstantino and John Hardy?

These are but a few of the sizzling silent auction items offered this year at the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Gala, “Soaring with the Stars” on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Merle Reskin Theatre and the Hilton Chicago.  Patricia Manos, Silent Auction Chairperson and her committee have put together more than 75 unique, one-of-a-kind gifts.

“I am very excited about the auction items that have been donated this year,” says Patricia.  “We have something that will appeal to everyone, from autographed sports memorabilia and tickets to events, to fantastic vacation destinations, golf, dining and spa packages,” continued Patricia.  Proceeds from the Silent Auction will support the Foundation's scholarship and educational programs.

The Annual Gala is the Foundation's primary fundraiser and one of the leading premier social events of the Greek American community.  A quarter of a million dollars is awarded every year to deserving Greek American college students whose outstanding academic performance merits recognition and support.

“Together with the Awards Ceremony, the fabulous dinner we have planned, the fantastic entertainment by Petros Gaitanos and a terrific silent auction, the 10th Anniversary Gala will be a stellar event, not to mention our Paradigm Award recipient, two-time Academy Award winner, Alexander Payne” says Chris P. Tomaras who founded the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation in 1998 and formally began hosting the gala in 2002.

Plan to join in the celebration on Saturday, June 16th.  Tickets are $200 per person; tables of ten, $2,000.  Click here to purchase your tickets to the event or become a scholarship sponsor. For more information call our office at (312) 357-6432.
