Give the Gift of Education

To All Our Friends & Supporters:

As 2013 comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to personally say thank you for your support.  We accomplished many goals together this year, goals that would not have been possible without your generosity and the support of our Community.

The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation exists for one reason and one reason only—to help Greek American students pursue higher education through significant financial assistance.

As we reflect on this past year, let me remind you what we have accomplished together:

1.       For a second consecutive year, we offered Hellenic Birthright.  We have sent a total of 34 Greek American college students to Greece for 5 weeks at an expense of $5,000 each.

2.       To date, we have awarded almost 250 students with close to $1.7 million in financial assistance.

3.       We announced our 2013/2014 scholarship application and have made a commitment to the Youth of our Community with $250,000 in scholarships for this year, as we have done in the past.

Please share this scholarship opportunity with any college student you may know.  This significant financial support could be the difference between a student staying in school or dropping out.  Applications can be downloaded here and should be postmarked by January 31, 2014.  Please save the date for our awards ceremony and gala on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Hilton Chicago.

As we approach the holiday season, I ask you to look in your heart and donate whatever you can—$100, $250, $500, $1,000—every dollar makes a difference.  Please consider making as generous a gift as you can, and it is tax deductible.

Your donation will make a world of difference.  I promise you.

We extend our warmest wishes to you and your family for a joyous Christmas and a healthy 2014 full of happiness and prosperity.

Best regards,

Chris P. Tomaras

Founder & Chairman
